Cannot recommend this child care enough! Fantastic place to send your children. The director is absolutely fabulous and the educators are wonderful

The staff are fantastic with my child they call me when he is hurt or starts to feel unwell amazing communication between my self and the center

My daughter was badly injured huge swelled shut black eye for nearly 2 months noone could say how it happened just that they were sorry. Also I had been to collect NY child in arvo when I observed that they had all age groups just running around free range in outdoor playground all together approx 30 kids wif all ages with only 2 staff members.

Goodstart Smithfield is centrally located within walking distance of Munno Para Shopping Centre, Smithfield Interchange and many other small businesses. We work to provide children and their families with a safe and challenging environment while offering early-intervention strategies to assist children who might be at risk or disadvantaged.

Our Centre’s approach is an all-of-community one, working within the Enhancing Children’s Outcomes (EChO) framework. We have a Child and Family Practitioner, a Speech Pathologist and an Occupational Therapist who liaise with our Educators to provide training in how best to assist children with any additional, sensory or behavioral needs.

Goodstart Early Learning Smithfield actively involves families, educators and the wider community in shaping the learning environment through continuous reviews of our current practices and programs.

We aim to create strong links between high quality care and inclusive early learning programs which are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework. We offer stimulating and sensory-based learning opportunities in groups from Nursery through to Kindergarten.

We offer you the ability to keep up to date with what your child is doing at our centre through “StoryPark”. This is an interactive web app where we send you updates through the day of your child’s observations and learning. You can also invite other family members to join your account so that they can keep in touch with what is happening in the centre too. 

Foodbank provide a service to our families and our chef prepares additional meals every day for parents to take home. Our centre works to provide parents with support, community and information to assist with day-to-day life.
