Located in the outer southern suburbs of Perth, Great Beginnings Secret Harbour took out top position in Western Australia. Achieving a rating of 9.6 on the KindiCare App, the centre also achieved an Exceeding National Quality Standards Rating by ACECQA.

When entering Great Beginnings Secret Harbour, you will be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to discover, learn and grow. The natural all-weather play areas feature real grass, cubby houses and water play areas for your child to engage with while learning through play to engage all the senses. Children are provided time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.

Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers. The centre kitchen is at the centre of all we do. There’s no need to pack lunch or snacks for your child. Nutritious meals and snacks are all included and created daily by the centre’s qualified in-house chef.

Centre Manager Emma Bennett said families appreciate the continuity, knowing their children are with familiar faces each day and the Centre focuses on having a family feel within its local community.

“We have developed a great relationship with our families, ensuring that they are involved in the care and education of their children,” said Emma. “Being able to have those important conversations with the same team member is vital for both the child and their family in ensuring continuity of care.

“It builds trust and confidence with the families and it’s great for our team members who get such satisfaction seeing the children grow and develop under their care.”
